CARPORT – THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN A BELIEVER, BRINGING THE KEYS OF THE CAR & HOUSE (REPRESENTING THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT)
- Whenever the person goes, he takes the keys with him all the way to the house
- He protects and keeps them from getting lost
- He carries the common sinfulness of a man which came from the world’s possessions
PORCH – THE ENTRANCE TO PERSONALLY KNOW JESUS CHRIST
- The person is always welcomed inside the House of the Master
- A new occupant will be guided by the tenants who have been living in the house by faith for years
- There are certain focal points that will display the characteristics of the homeowner
LIVING AREA – THE PLACE WHERE FELLOW BELIEVERS COME TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST TOGETHER
- The place of building relationships with each other in Jesus Christ
- Speaking the truth in love and encouraging one another
- Common life experiences are shared through small talks
KITCHEN – THE PREPARATION OF NEW LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST
- The Master of the House representing the Holy Trinity; God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit prepare the food for the occupants
- The Christian life will come to be tested in faith to grow their trust more in the Lord
- The Master of the House calls out the believers to gather everyone in the feast He has prepared
DINING AREA – THE CONSUMING OF GOD’S WORDS
- The gathering of the feast in celebrating the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
- Experiencing the process of God changing the believers
- Sharing one another’s food
- Having communion with one another
- Having small talks about life
- Corporate Bible reading, study, and meditation
- Community presenting as part of the body of the Church
TOILET & BATH – THE CLEANSING OF ONE’S LIFE & DEEDS
- Confessing and asking for the forgiveness of sins
- Repentance and renewing of one’s self
- Preparing oneself to serve others
SERVICE AREA – THE PLACE WHERE WE REMEMBER THAT WE ARE SINNERS IN NEED OF A SAVIOR
- Being reminded of the endless grace and steadfast love of God
- Carrying of the cross and dying to oneself
- Surrounding yourself with fellow Christians
BEDROOM – THE PERSONAL TIME WITH THE FATHER AND HAVING AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM
- Prayer life where one discovers the heart of God
- Asking for bold faith to proclaim Jesus Christ to the world
- Personal Bible reading, study, and meditation
- Abiding in God’s love and experiencing shalom (“perfect peace”)
